Welcome to Monty’s Meadow!

By booking and choosing to use our secure dog walking field, you agree to the following:

1. Booking & Use

  • All sessions must be booked in advance via our online system.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking. No-shows are non-refundable.

  • We cannot extend your time if you arrive late.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or close the field at any time – in such cases, a full refund will be issued.

2. Arrival & Departure

  • Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your session begins.

  • Do not enter the field until the previous user has left. Wait on the track outside of the gate if needed.

  • You must exit the field and load your dog(s) before the next slot starts.

  • Drive slowly and with care along the access track.

  • Keep the car park gates shut at all times for safety.

3. Field Rules & Conduct

  • The field is for private use only! Subletting or shared sessions are not allowed.

  • Dogs must be supervised at all times.

  • No dogs are to be exercised outside the enclosed area.

  • Digging is not allowed. Please discourage this behaviour.

  • Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Climbing on gates or fencing is not permitted.

  • Monty’s Meadow is a natural, rural environment and may contain uneven ground, trees, branches, and shrubs. Care should be taken when walking.

  • Please respect the tranquil setting. Keep shouting and excessive noise to a minimum.

  • Any mistreatment of dogs, including physical punishment, will result in a permanent ban. We promote kind, positive handling at all times.

4. Health & Safety

  • Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and must not be brought to the field if ill.

  • Users accept full responsibility for any injury or damage caused by themselves or their dogs during their session.

  • Fosse Farm and Monty’s Meadow accept no liability for loss, injury, or damage to people, animals, or vehicles while on the premises.

5. Waste & Cleanliness

  • Poo bags and a bin are provided. Please pick up after your dog and dispose of waste properly.

  • All other litter must be taken home or placed in the appropriate bins.

6. Sand pit use - Dogs only

  • Please note that the sandpit provided within the secure dog field is strictly for canine use only. For health and safety reasons, children and adults are not permitted to enter, sit in, or play in the sandpit at any time.

  • This area is designed exclusively for dogs to enjoy. Anyone found in breach of this rule may be asked to leave the field, and future bookings may be refused. Thank you for respecting this safety measure.

7. Legal requirement for XL Bully Owners

In order to visit with your XL Bully you must ensure:

  • The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household.

  • The dog is kept on/ put back on a lead and muzzled when the field gates are open.

  • Only dogs from one household can use the exercise field at any one time.

  • In accordance with current legislation, all XL Bully dog owners must provide a valid exemption and public liability insurance certificate when booking a secure dog field. This licence must be sent via email to montysmeadow@gmail.com immediately after booking.

  • Failure to provide this documentation will result in your booking being invalid and cancelled without refund. We reserve the right to deny access to any XL Bully dog without proof of a valid licence.

8. Privacy

  • We may occasionally take promotional photos of the field. Please let us know if you’d prefer not to be included in any images taken during your session.

9. Local Environment and Wildlife

While the field itself is free from livestock, neighbouring areas are not and nor is it uncommon to spot local wildlife such as foxes, squirrels, birds or the occasional roaming deer nearby. These natural visitors add to the countryside charm but may be tempting for dogs with a strong prey instinct.

Please note: If your dog is likely to jump over high fences (above two metres) or becomes highly reactive to wildlife, this environment may not be suitable. You remain responsible for your dog’s safety and any damage caused in the unlikely event of an escape.
